Window Installation in Prescott, AZ

Whether the walls are finished or still open to the studs, we measure, supply and install the window, and we stand behind the whole job.

Two kinds of window work

Replacement windows go into the openings of an existing home: we remove the old sash and frame, fit a custom-sized window into the opening, then insulate, seal and trim it, usually without disturbing stucco, siding or interior drywall. New construction windows have a nailing fin and go into open framing: a custom home, an addition, or a remodel where the wall has been opened anyway. Each approach needs different products, different flashing details and a different schedule.

Both start the same way, with a visit to see the house. In Prescott that visit matters more than in most places. Homes inside the city's preservation districts may need a review of exterior changes before windows are replaced. The city's wildland-urban interface code sets glazing rules for homes in the interface. HOAs in Prescott Valley and the newer Prescott subdivisions often have their own color and grid rules. And the climate, with strong high-altitude sun, freezing nights and dusty spring wind, rewards some frame materials and punishes others.

We sort all of that out before you see a price. The quote lists every opening, the window we recommend for it and why, and the installation method. If you want to compare a vinyl option against fiberglass or wood-clad, both go on the same page. Start with the service that fits your project, or see what windows cost in the Prescott area.
