About us

A Prescott Window Company That Keeps It Simple

We do one thing: help Quad Cities homeowners choose the right windows and get them installed properly, at a price they see in writing first.

Why we do only windows

Window Company Prescott started with a simple observation: most window problems around here come from the wrong window in the wrong place, or the right window installed carelessly. An aluminum slider facing west, a vinyl window in a dark color baking in the high-altitude sun, a historic sash swapped for something that would never pass preservation review, a manufactured home fitted with windows shimmed into openings they were never sized for. None of those are hard problems. They just need someone who looks at the house first and sells second.

So that's how we work. We don't do roofs, kitchens or siding. We measure, specify and install windows and patio doors for homes in Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt, and nothing else. Focusing on one trade in one area means we know the products, the local building departments, the HOA committees and the way our climate treats glass and frames.

How we work

  • We look before we quote. Every estimate is an in-home visit. We measure every opening, check the frames and note anything that affects the price, from stucco returns to wildfire-code glazing.
  • Itemized, written pricing. Your quote lists each opening, the window we recommend for it and its installed price. If you want to compare vinyl against fiberglass or wood-clad, both options go on the same page.
  • The approved price is the price. Nothing is ordered until you sign off, and the number doesn't grow after the windows arrive.
  • Custom-sized, not forced to fit. Windows are built to the measured opening, including manufactured-home sizes, so they sit square and seal properly.
  • Clean installs. One opening at a time, floors and furniture covered, old windows hauled away the same day, and a walkthrough of every window before we leave.

Built for this climate

The Quad Cities sit between about 4,600 and 5,400 feet. That means strong ultraviolet light, big daily temperature swings, freezing winter nights, dusty spring wind and a monsoon season that tests every seal. We choose glass and frames for those conditions: low-E coatings matched to each wall's sun exposure, frame materials that tolerate heat and cold, and insulated glass ordered for our elevation. You can compare every window we offer by its NFRC label, and we'll point out which products meet ENERGY STAR criteria for our region.

Licensed installers

Window installation in Arizona is contracting work, and the people who install your windows hold an Arizona Registrar of Contractors license. We encourage every homeowner to check any contractor they hire, us included, on the Arizona ROC contractor search. It takes a minute and shows license status and complaint history.

Where we work

We serve Prescott, Prescott Valley, Chino Valley and Dewey-Humboldt, plus nearby unincorporated Yavapai County. Staying local keeps us close enough to come back quickly if a sash needs adjusting or you have a question about your warranty.
